Doha, November 19 (QNA) -Japan beat Qatar 3-0 Wednesday to move into outright second place in its World Cup qualifying group. Goals by midfielder Tatsuya Tanaka, striker Keiji Tamada and defender Marcus Tanaka gave Japan its first win over Qatar in six matches and took it to seven points from three games in Group A of Asian qualifying. Australia leads the group with nine points from three games. Qatar is third with four points from as many matches. (QNA) AK
