Doha, February 08 (QNA) - The Advisory Council held Monday its weekly regular session under its Speaker H.E. Mohammed bin Mubarak al Kholaifi.
The Council discussed a draft law amending some provisions of the law No. /4/ of 2009 on real estate and decided to submit its related recommendations to the Cabinet.
The Council also reviewed the draft law No. 12 of 2009 related to the amendment of some provisions of the law No. /1/ of 1996 on the establishment of Aljazeera Sports Network and decided to refer it to its cultural and media affairs committee to examine and report the council later.
It reviewed the draft law No. /13/ of 2009 concerning the diplomatic and consular corps and decided to refer it to internal and external affairs committee for further consideration and report about it to the Advisory Council.
Then, the council reviewed the following two draft laws:
1- A draft law No. /16/ of 2009 on converting General Postal Corporation (Q-Post) into a Qatari shareholding company.
2- A draft law No. /17/ of 2009 on setting up Qatar Ports Management Company.
The Council later decided to refer these two draft laws to the financial and economic affairs committee to examine and report to the Advisory Council.
The Council also reviewed draft law No. /18/ of 2009 to abolish some laws and decided to refer it to the legal and legislative affairs committee for further consideration and report about it to the Council. (QNA)
