Gaza, July 24 (QNA) - Israeli authorities on Tuesday opened the Kerem Abu Salem crossing to allow the entry of limited amounts of Qatari industrial fuel which will be used to operate Gaza's only power plant.
Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of Gaza's Supplies Raed Fattouh said that the Israeli side informed them that dozens of trucks loaded with aids and goods for both commercial and agricultural sectors will enter the Strip.
Limited quantities of cooking gas will also be shipped through the same terminal, Fattouh added.
The Kerem Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing through which goods and fuel enter into the Gaza Strip.
Israel has imposed a siege on the Strip six years ago and controlled goods and aids entry while banning raw and construction materials. (QNA)
