    Doha, July 12 (QNA) - The Qatar Exchange was in the green area Thursday adding 42.92 points or 0.52% to 8,285.03 points from the previous closing of 8,242.11.
     The volume of the shares traded fell to 3,241,569 from 4,254,373 and the value of shares increased to QR107,285,451.83 from QR125,197,434.88 Wednesday.
     Among the top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 1.84% to QR133.00, Electricity and Water rose 3.24% to QR137.00, Doha Bank gained 1.82% to QR56.00 and Gulf International up by 2.16% to QR26.05.
     Among the top losers were Qatar Insurance whose share dropped 0.84% to QR70.90 , Al Kaleej Takaful lost 3.66% to QR40.75, Qatar Navigation fell 0.33% to QR59.60 and  Barwa down 0.71% to QR27.80.
     The Banking and Financial sector index was up by 5.71 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added by 19.91  points.
      The industrial sector was rose by 36.86  points while insurance sector dropped 50.39 points. (QNA)
