ArticleMainBodyHTML1: ​Tehran, May 19 (QNA) Iran's Ambassador to Russia Reza Sajjadi said after signing modality protocol, Iran is ready to permit IAEA inspectors to visit Parchin Site. Sajjadi made the remarks in an interview with (Itar-Tass) News Agency on Saturday.
 He added that IAEA inspectors have already inspected the site completely.
 He went on to say that IAEA has declared that they want to inspect the site again.
 Iran has extensive cooperation with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and IAEA inspectors have inspected Iran's nuclear centers for 5 thousand person/day.
 Iran has declared that Parchin is not a nuclear center, so the inspectors are not allowed to inspect there.
 Sajjadi said Iran proposed the agency to sign modality protocol, in which all vague problems of Iran's nuclear program have been explained.
 He added that in return, Tehran expects that Iran's nuclear dossier be closed in the UN Security Council.
 Sajjadi also said that Iran is not committed to stop uranium enrichment and close Fordow site.
 Meanwhile, he underlined that Iran does not intend to build a nuclear weapon at all. (QNA)

 According to Palestinian media reports this morning, a group of settlers threw stones and Molotov cocktails at passing cars and burned a vehicle after being directly attacked by a Molotov cocktail. The driver managed to leave the car without any injury.

ArticleMainBodyHTML1: ​Seoul, May 19 (QNA) - South Korea on Sunday condemned North Korea's recent series of provocations and urged the communist state to engage in dialogue to resolve a standoff over an inter-Korean industrial zone.
 In a statement, Kim Hyung-suk, spokesman for the unification ministry, defined Pyongyang's provocative actions as "deplorable" and called on the North to "act responsibly" in the international community.
 The ministry's statement came one day after the North fired three short-range missiles into the sea off its east coast.
 Kim also held North Korea responsible for the suspension of operations at Kaesong industrial complex and for the lack of subsequent inter-Korean talks to resolve the issue.
   "It's quite regrettable that North Korea has denigrated our dialogue proposals and distorted facts while shifting the blame for the halted operations to us," the spokesman said.
 "If North Korea is serious about discussions over raw materials, it must respond to our offer for talks," he added. (QNA)

ArticleMainBodyHTML1: ​Beirut, May 19 (QNA) -  The Syrian military pounded the rebel-held central town of Qusayr, killing 13 people, in an apparent preparation for a ground assault, a watchdog said.
   "After two days of calm, planes bombed the town of Qusayr in the early hours of the morning," Syrian Observatory for Human Rights director Rami Abdel Rahman said, reported AFP.
   "At least 13 people, including rebels, were killed in these raids and in artillery and mortar fire by the army.
"It seems that this is preparation for a major operation," he added.
    The Syrian Revolution General Commission, a network of activists on the ground, also reported an intense bombardment of Qusayr, which the Syrian regime has been trying to recapture.(QNA)

    Koenders will serve as Ban’s Special Representative in the country  and will lead the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization  Mission (MINUSMA), which is tasked with supporting the political  process in the country, in close coordination with the African Union  and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
    The Mission will help the Malian authorities to implement the  transitional roadmap towards the full restoration of constitutional  order, democratic governance and national unity. This includes the  holding of elections in July, confidence-building and facilitation of  reconciliation at the national and local levels.
     Koenders has been the Secretary-General’s Special Representative  and Head of the UN Operation in Cote d’Ivoire (UNOCI) since October  2011.   (QNA)

 Earlier on Wednesday, Taiwan recalled its envoy to the Philippines. The sanctions included the freezing of applications for work permits, the cessation of economic exchanges and military exercises in waters between the two sides.
 A spokesman for Philippine President Benigno Aquino had said a formal apology was being offered to the "appropriate authority" in Taiwan over the "unfortunate loss" of the fisherman.
 Taiwan's Premier Jiang Yi-huah said the apology was inadequate because it called the fisherman's death unfortunate and unintentional, according to a statement from the Taiwan government on its website.

Eleven of the victims died when a car bomb exploded near a marketplace in a mostly Shiite area in the capital, the independent broadcaster Alsumaria quoted security sources as saying.
In Mosul, a city located around 400 kilometres north of Baghdad, two soldiers were killed in car bombings that targeted security checkpoints.   (QNA)

The council heard to reports of ministers and directors of all security organs on security situation in all parts of Sudan.

The Sudanese armed forces said that what has been circulated by the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) two days ago, the Chadian forces crossed into Sudanese territories were baseless and aiming at making media noise to hidden the rebellion's goals.
In a statement to Sudan News Agency (SUNA),the spokesman of the Armed Forces, Col. Al-Sawarmi Khalid Saad, said that the rebels have made a media campaign two days ago,aiming to embarrass the Sudanese-Chadian governments by alleged that the Chadian forces crossed into  the Sudanese lands.
He said the Sudan and Chad have a protocol  and pursuant to it they formed joint troops to control the security disturbances in the two countries and have no relations with the work of the Sudanese armed forces in combating the rebels.(QNA)
