Amman, July 02 (QNA) - 14th Asia- pacific Forum (APF) for national human rights institutions from Asia, will take place in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on August 3. The Forum, to be held in an Arab nation for the first time, will discuss two key themes: the Human rights and corruption and Human rights and religious belief. In statements to press Thursday, the commissioner general of Jordan’s National Centre for Human Rights Dr. Muhie al Din Touq said the two themes of the Forum have been chosen in accordance with the impact of corruption over people''s financial, economic, social and cultural situation that will certainly affect their main rights. The meeting is expected to bring together more than 150 representatives from APF member- institutions, other national human rights commissions, United Nations agencies, national governments, non-government organizations and donor groups.
